TELEKOM BÓNUSZ ELECTRONIC MUSIC FESTIVAL 2011, the biggest electronic music event of Hungary, will open its gates at 7 PM on Saturday, 15 October 2011. More than 40 international and Hungarian artists will perform at the world-class event, in the four great arenas of HUNGEXPO.
This will be the first time to see and hear Richie Hawtin’s legendary alter ego, PLASTIKMAN in Hungary and in Central and Eastern Europe. He is going to blow the minds of the audience away with his newly developed 1.5 format live show. The impressive line up will be further fortified by the leading figure of the global techno-scene, CARL COX, who will be visiting Budapest as part of the tour for presenting his new album, which was released in August. The British DJ/ producer icon, SASHA will be here with us and also FERRY CORSTEN, one of the most admired idols of the international trance scene. The committer of the latest Cocoon mix album, Drumcode-boss ADAM BEYER is coming to us, as well as the highly-acclaimed Dutch DJ-producer, JORIS VOORN, and the British techno live act, SPEKTRE. Much to the trance-fans’ satisfaction, the prominent group of the Telekom Bónusz Festival performers includes GARETH EMERY and JOCHEN MILLER from the Netherlands. The audience can expect a real musical treat from the Swedish producer duo, DADA LIFE, and also from GUY J, the much-in-demand producer from the label Bedrock. What’s more, we will also see and hear MAYA JANE COLES, one of the most talented up-and-coming DJs from London, as well as the Italian BELZEBASS formation. The international section is further strengthened by DJ OBSERVER from Austria and MICHAL BREETH from Slovakia.
